The core idea of EU-CARE focuses on understanding how universities can stand strong together in times of war and major crisis. Its main goal is to explore, analyze, and share practical examples of what “cooperative academic resilience” looks like in action. In this project, academic resilience means the ability of students, faculty, staff, leaders, and institutions as a whole to cope with major disruptions, adapt to rapidly changing circumstances, and recover fully—while continuing to support learning, research, and their communities.
