RE-ENGAGE Kick-off Meeting in Brussels

On Janury 23-24, 2024 the UESA Honorary President Roman Petrov and UESA President Oksana Holovko-Havrysheva participated at the Kick-off meeting of the HORIZON EUROPE project "Re-Engaging with Neighbours in a State of War and Geopolitical Tensions" (GA 101132314). This project is aimed at reflecting and research of the impact the russian invasion causes to the EU's engagement with its neighbours. The main project aim is to re-fine the EU policy instruments regarding the enlargement and accession focusing on building resilient, stabile and democratic neighbourhood. The project includes in-depth studies in six candidate countries – three in the Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Serbia) and three in the Eastern Neighbourhood (Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine). The project is coordinated by the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (Norway).
