Researching Third Mission of Universities: Preliminary Findings

The Ukrainian European Studies Association is pleased to present the research layout on the third mission of universities. The study was conducted within the UNICOM project from April to December 2023. The research layout  highlights the main findings of the research questions:

  • How is the third mission of universities regulated in Ukraine and the project partner countries: Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, Sweden, and Latvia at the level of higher education institutions, as well as regional and national levels?

  • What models of realization of the third mission of universities exist in Ukraine, and how did the war affect the realization of the third mission by domestic universities?

  • What are the current priorities for the third mission of universities in higher education institutions in Ukraine?
