On 1-5 September 2026 the Ukraine Team (Prof. Roman Petrov, Ms Khrysyna Bidonko) took part in 19th Pan-European Conference on International Relations in Lisbon, Portugal.
Roman Petrov and Khrystyna Bidonko presented results of the field work and their academic papers at the following panels of the conference:
1) Enlargement in a State of War and Geopolitical Tensions (Section Chairs: Pernille Rieker & Morten Bøås, NUPI, Norway)
2) The Geopolitical Enlargement of the European Union (Section Chairs: Patricia Daehnhardt, Portuguese Institute of International Relations, Nova University of Lisbon and Maria Raquel Freire, Universidade de Coimbra)
Further, Roman Petrov took part in recording of the innovative podcast “The EU Enlargement Game” the podcast episode accessible at the European Council for Foreign Relations web portal.
